or rice milk 1 tbsp of garlic powder salt and pepper to taste heat all
in a sauce pan till it is all melted. And about 2 cups of elbo
macaronie.) For better instuctions go to dayias website this recipe is
on there.
Sidedish- lemon pepper garlic fries( cut into fries 4 large potatos. In a
mixing bowl put 1 tbsp olive oil 1 tesp salt 1 tesp garlic powder 1/2
tesp pepper 1/4 tesp paprika 1/2 tesp lemon zest. Put potatos in bowl
and cover them in the mixture. Put on cookie sheet single layer and cook
at 450 f for 45 min.)
- - - - -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
1. two slices of wholegrain toast, a handful of spinach, red onions, capsicum and a squirt of chili sauce
2. chinese red bean paste buns
3. agar agar, an extremely low-calorie vegan jelly substitute
4. mashed potatoes.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
1. Lettuce and carrots w/ spicy mustard
2. Burrito
3. Mashed potatoes
4. I don't do "sides"- I cook one dish and eat it, holidays aside.
And since I'm vegan, there isn't the whole meat-surrounded-by-everything else part.

What is your favorite ethnic dish vegetarian?
1. Baklava
Though it’s time-consuming to prepare, this Greek bakery staple makes a great transition to home cooking, so long as you’re in the mood to get messy.
2. Baja Fish Tacos
One of the most crowd-pleasing, inexpensive buffets, we serve fish tacos a little too often. This simple version echoes the flavors of Mexico, with its fried fresh fish and understated accoutrements.
3. BiBimBap
BiBimBap is a Korean hotpot, and so long as you’re not too worried about authenticity, it’s infinitely customizable at home.
4. Fried Rice
Perfect for using up leftover rice (and really any other leftovers in your fridge), fried rice makes an appearance on every Chinese menu and is fun and quick to recreate.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
I really enjoyed hot spicy eggplant and okra dishes. Here is one I have tried cooking myself that I would definitely recommend. You can adjust the amount of chilli depending on how hot you like your food.

Which are your favourite vegan ingredients that you pick out?
Avocado and onions. I have eaten sandwiches with just those two things
on them before so it will always be the first thing I eat. Also, love to
pick the tofu out!
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
just im weird in that i eat the carbs or appetizers first (like the rice), and then have the main course after (like tofu with peanut sauce or grilled seitan with whatever sauce)
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Typically beans because they have all the protein.

Why the eggs are classified as dairy?
Dairy products are generally defined as food produced from the milk of
mammals (the Food Standards Agency of the United Kingdom defines dairy
as "foodstuffs made from mammalian milk").Apart from breastfed infants,
the human consumption of dairy products is sourced primarily from the
milk of cows, yet goats, sheep, yaks, camels, and other mammals are
other sources of dairy products consumed by humans.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Eggs actually aren't considered dairy but are part of the meat and beans group. They are included there because they are stored in similar conditions and are used together in recipes.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ---- - - -
Chickens don't menstruate; I'm so tired of seeing that ignorant statement. Likewise, there is never a chance of a baby chick forming inside an egg unless that egg has been fertilized, and commercially raised, egg laying hens never see a rooster, so that's an impossibility.
Eggs are not considered dairy; they are a protein, same as meat and beans. They may be next to the dairy products in the store, but that's only because it's refrigerated.

Can vegetarians eat lard as a substitute for butter and margarine?
Lard is rendered pig fat, so it's not vegan.
Most margarines contain trace amounts of dairy products such as whey or lactose. However, there are a few brands that don't, including Earth Balance, Blue Bonnet Light Margarine, and Smart Balance Light Margarine. If you want to be sure that the margarine you're using is 100% vegan, you may want to use a product that is specifically marketed as a vegan non-dairy spread. If you're checking labels looking for a vegan margarine, be sure to look out for whey, lactose, casein and caseinate, which are dairy derivatives frequently used in margarines.
All stores tend to carry these products.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Vegans do not eat any bi-product of animals, lard is an animal product, its the fat from the abdomen of a pig... Therefore, no they do not. Also lard isn't an everyday substitute for butter/margarine because its very full on...You wouldn't want to spread it on your toast.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - -
You can if you want to. No one can stop you what you want to put into your mouth. I like to stir fry vegetables with lard, somewhat cooking with lard, the food seems tastier

Is possible this: Animal manure used to grow food vegan?
How much of the organic produce in the stores is grown using cow/chicken type animal fertilizer? I was watching a documentary once and it showed how they collected all the enslaved animals dung to steam in a big pile to sell as fertilizer. So would this make a particular item technically not vegan even if its a fruit or vegetable. Ive never heard anyone ever inquire about such a thing.
Take it your way
Enslaved animals, how about the enslaved woman that get raped, mutilated and exploited in the collection of minerals for your phone, laptop and TV. Looks like your ignorant in other things to.
If it was up to veg/vegans, in their world more animals will die or cease to exist. More habitats would be destroyed to make way for crops and industrial green houses.

Everybody eats; everybody poops. Plants; which are food, and get THEIR nutrients from poop. It's the beautiful circle of life.

How to make vegetarian food have a good taste for you?
I like many vegetables i like spinach dips, asparagus, carrots, onions,
squash but whenever i have en counted something labeled as a
vegetarian dish i did not eat it it just did not taste good to me is
there something in that style i don't know about that makes it taste
different/ i earn the corn souffle served at T-day, and asparagus
souffle and many other things.
Consider this:
Vegetarian food is anything apart from meat and other bits of a dead animal. We can eat any combination of foods and any spices. Souffles are by nature bland. Try some other vegetarian foods, a spicy chickpea curry, Mexican style beans, a vegetarian tom yum soup, some strawberry-balsamic glazed tempeh, some satay tofu on a stick, a vegie burger with fried onions, lettuce and mayo...
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
May be it's problem of cook. You need to change cook. Although vegetables taste is not so good to eat, but it can be great by the specialised cook.
- -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - -- - - -
You like fries, sweet potatoes, bakes potatoes with butter and cheese, corn chips, burritoes, black bean and corn salsa, hummous, peanut butter and J, oatmeal with maple syrup, ice cream, cheese doritoes, banana pancakes, corn muffins, waffles with chocolate, chickpea salad, cauliflour curry, fried rice and stri fried veg, don't you? They're all vegetarian.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Skilled cooks can make vegetarian food that tastes good. Most of it takes like something you feed to cows. I suggest your eat a well-rounded diet that includes meat and fish. Remember all things in moderation - like don't eat 12 cupcakes at one time.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
You can't possibly write off all veg food. They have everything. There is even veg food that tastes like meat.

Types of vegetarian pizza
Many types of vegetarian pizza toppings are based on a variety of vegetables, fake meats, and unusual pizza toppings. Numerous vegetables can be used as pizza toppings, including common toppings such as onions, peppers, and olives, as well as basic pizza toppings like cheese and sauce.
There are also a number of products made for vegetarians that emulate the flavor and texture of different types of meat, including vegetarian sausage that can be used on pizza. Some vegetarian pizza toppings can also be used to make somewhat unusual pizzas, such as creamy sauces used on white pizzas or sweet toppings for dessert pizza.

How can vegetarians replacing a meal that is less about the turkey?
It depends on the person. Some people will eat just the sides, such as
the green beans, mashed potatoes, etc. Others will eat the faux meat, a
Quorn roast or Tofurkey. There are people that will make a fall themed
dish, using fall vegetables, squashes, etc. Still others just make a
general main dish with not fall theme.
I change it up every year. My sister likes the faux turkey products so sometimes we use those. Other times I will make a fall themed dish, last year I made a generic dish that had nothing to do with fall. This year I want to make a fall themed meal.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
i am a vegetarian but the rest of my extended family isn't, so i don't make them make me anything special.... i will eat the sides like stuffing, mashed potatoes, and cranberry sauce. Even without turkey it is still the best meal all year. Also make sure you get your protein... maybe make some beans to eat beforehand.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
My last Thanksgiving dinner with the family had two or three vegetarian casseroles, spicy green beans, candied sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, a salad or two, a nutroast, some bean dish, macaroni and cheese, and loads of desserts. If that meal is lacking for something, well I must be crazy.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
After I gave up turkey I made a feast of vegetables cooked the way I liked them best. Seasoned roast potatoes, mashed potatoes, mashed yams with ginger, green beans with almonds, candied root vegetables like carrots, turnips, parsnips etc. Lots of stuffing, vegetable stock gravy, cranberries. I had so much taste variety that I never missed the Turkey and haven't even bothered with a meat substitue.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Some eat faux turkey or faux meat. But some of us left the idea of a meat or meat-like "main" dish in our past. Omnivores typically think of meals as a hunk of flesh with "sides". I think of a meal as several colorful and varied dishes.

How to make homemade veggie burgers?
I start by boiling some chick peas, red kidney beans and haricot beans
for 5 minutes. Drain the water, add parsley, butter, salt and pepper,
paprika and a little cayenne pepper. Then you mush it with a potato
smoosher, till it's mashed but has a little texture. Then mould them
into balls, flatten them into burgers and stick 'em in the oven for 20
minutes at about 200c. get them out, bung them in a bread roll with
letture, pickles, oinion etc. And viola.......you have a happy burger!
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
I use mince, flour, bread crumbs, oregano and egg yolk. This makes a delcious pattie. Then I will often add bacon, onions, lettuce, tomato, ketchup and aoili. Oh, and aged cheddar cheese.

What are some alternatives to meat for vegetarians?
If you mean protein you can turn to soy but if you eat too much
you could develop an allergy I did a rash that was so darn itchy had to stop eating soy completely and if I don't pay attention and something has soybean oil I can a small reaction but still get a reaction!

How you can avoid eating meat and eat / do something healthy and delicious vegetarian?
I want to experience the feeling of being a vegetarian and stay away
from eating animals (fish, chicken, red meats, etc.) I only want to do
this for a while not trying to stay a vegetarian for life, i just want
to know how it feels.
Consider this:
By eating meat substitutes. There's veggie burgers, veggie bacon and sausage, veggie chicken, veggie bologna, veggie deli turkey, veggie corn dogs, veggie hot wings; just eat any of the meat substitutes I mentioned. There's veggie cheese, butter, and milk too.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
1. Select your favorite fruits/vegetables/nuts/seeds/legumes.
2. Cook or prepare them in your favorite way- sauteeing, baking, frying, etc-
3. In your favorite spices and condiments- garlic, rosemary, mustard, etc
4. Eat.

Are McDonalds fries suitable for vegetarians and why?
Consider this options:
For a moral vegatarian I would say products like this and many others are not suited because of the impact of intensive farming and waste these places have on the world.
As for vegatarian as a diet, like it should be its safe.
- - - - - - - -- - - - - - - -- - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - --
No they are not suitable for vegetarians, they contain flavoring from beef fat. Didn't you hear about how vegetarians, vegans, and people of certain religions sued McDonald's a few years ago because they mislabeled their fries as being vegetarian?
- - -- - - - -- - - -- - - - -- - - - -- - - -- - - - -- - - - - -- - - -- - - -
No, they are not vegetarian because on top of being fried in the same oil as chicken nuggets and such, they are flavored with beef fat(at least in North America). If you are a veg'n, I advise you to stay far, far away from McDonalds. They are one of the worst companies as far as animal cruelty goes. I highly doubt that even their sodas are animal-product free.
- - -- - - - - -- - - - - -- - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - --
McDonald's fries are not vegan in most places - I've heard they are Vegan in Canada tho. I can't remember because I dont buy them at all. You can look it up on their official website - they contain some kind of beef fat (disgusting) The fries are actually fried in its own container....

How is a vegan Diet Healthy and what are the benefits do you get?
A vegan diet has virtually no bad cholesterol, since that comes
exclusively from animal products. Other than that, it's up to what foods
you get.
A reduced change of E. Coli, yes. There was a case in my state just a few weeks ago of canteloupe E. Coli, so it is not 100%.
Not all chocolate has dairy- dark chocolate varieties often don't, and you can order vegan chocolate made with non-dairy milks. Non-dairy ice cream is now available at a lot of grocery stores, too.
Weight is governed by CALORIES- expend more and consume less if you'd like to lose weight. Veganism has nothing to do with it. (Pro-tip: chocolate and ice cream aren't doing you any favors.)
Btw, veganism is not a diet. It's an ethical philosophy opposing animal commodification.
Vegans don't:
buy or consume meat, dairy, eggs, honey, or foods containing them
buy or wear fur, leather, silk, wool, or clothing trimmed in them
buy or use consumer products containing animal-derived ingredients or distributed by companies conducting animal toxicity tests

Benefits
When I went vegan I noticed a lot of positive changes such as :
-My nails got very hard and strong. Before I went vegan I could basically bend my nail if it was long enough. Right now It's doesnt bend at all.
- My hair doesnt split. Last time I went to a barbershop was 3 years ago....
- My skin got a lot better ! No pimples. Its a lot more moisturized...
- Weight loss. I didnt lose much weight because I was already skinny, but a friend of mine has lost a lot of weight. She was big tho.
- I have a lot more energy. I go to aerobics 2 times a day! I love to move! ( I have a sitting job)
- Better metabolism.
- People say "You look glowing" all the time :)
I noticed that I'm a lot more positive and just happy. I feel good about myself and about this new lifestyle and that " I'm being the change I want to see in the wolrd :) "
As for the snack, you can find a lot of vegan snacks out there, you just have to read the indigrients.
I actually can;t remember where E.Coli has come from because there have been few things suspected but you will definietaly reduce the risk of getting high choloestereol, heart diseases, cardiovascular disease and a lot ofther stuff.
Vegans don't:
buy or consume meat, dairy, eggs, honey, or foods containing them
buy or wear fur, leather, silk, wool, or clothing trimmed in them
buy or use consumer products containing animal-derived ingredients or distributed by companies conducting animal toxicity tests
buy animals to be used as "pets" from breeders/pet stores
frequent zoos/circuses/rodeos/aquariums or other venues where animals are held in captivity or forced to perform for human entertainment or profit.

Tell us what is your favorite vegetarian food?
Pasta Primavera
3 carrots, peeled and cut into thin strips
2 medium zucchini or 1 large zucchini, cut into thin strips
2 yellow squash, cut into thin strips
1 onion, thinly sliced
1 yellow bell pepper, cut into thin strips
1 red bell pepper, cut into thin strips
1/4 cup olive oil
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 tablespoon dried Italian seasoning
1 pound farfalle (bowtie pasta)
15 cherry tomatoes, halved
1/2 cup grated Parmesan
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.
In a very large bowl toss all of the vegetables with the oil, salt, pepper, and dried herbs to coat. Transfer the vegetable mixture to 2 heavy large baking sheets and arrange evenly. Bake until the carrots are tender and the vegetables begin to brown, stirring after the first 10 minutes, about 20 minutes total.
Meanwhile, cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water until al dente, tender but still firm to the bite, about 8 minutes, or to package directions. Drain, reserving 1 cup of the cooking liquid.
Toss the pasta with the vegetable mixtures in a large bowl to combine. Toss with the cherry tomatoes and enough reserved cooking liquid to moisten. Season the pasta with salt and pepper, to taste. Sprinkle with the Parmesan and serve immediately.

I love vegan sloppy joes- they're really easy to make. All you need is tempeh, some veggies ( I usually use mushrooms, carrots, peppers, and onions) and some barbecue sauce. They're absolutely delicious :)

What can or can not eat vegetarians?
I want to know what vegetarians can or cant eat. Because if I was to ask
someone to the cinema, I would want to know what they can or cant eat,
so that I can suggest to get it for them. A list of both can and cant
would be great of common cinema products.
Take it your way
Vegetarians don't eat any sort of meat. If it ever breathed, they don't eat it.
They still eat animal products, things that came from animals like milk and eggs. If they were vegan, however, they wouldn't eat anything that came from an animal at all.
As for things at the movie theater, the only meat product I can think of that would be there would be hot dogs, or pizza with pepperoni or sausage on it. They don't generally sell many meat products.

Interestingly they simply just avoid meat altogether. Such a diet is not wrong and certainly more healthy than what most people eat in america. Also, the tend to stay away from really synthetic foods like milk chocolate and most commercially available beverages. So should you have a friend that is 100% vegan down to their soul then just make sure not to offer any meat snacks/foods and junk food. Do that I think you will be okay.

Strictly speaking a vegetarian diet does not include meat. However, these days there are different types of vegetarian diets. So the vegetarian group also includes the following: pescetarian (eats fish but no other meat or poultry), ovo vegetarian (includes eggs but no other dairy products), lacto vegetarian (includes dairy but no eggs). Vegans only consume plant material (so no milk, eggs, cheese or honey). There are other categories but then it all becomes really confusing. As a pescetarian myself (or a "selective omnivore") when I go to the movies I usually opt for unbuttered popcorn, nachos or plain cheese pizza.
