I weigh 44kg, train 24 hours a week for synchronised swimming, and Im a
14 year old girl. My friends joke i have too much protein but my coach says
I dont eat enough. How much should i have?
Consider this:
Your coach probably eats turkey and cheese strings right? He sounds like an azshole.
You're getting enough most likely. There is protein in food, all food.
And since modern mythology decided that the only imortant thing is
protein and not iron calcium or vitaminB, then I'm sure you're getting
enough. Even if you ate a bowl of cereal once a day, it's enough
protein. You do NOT need to eat protein in order to grow muscles.
Duh, newsflash for your stupid coach- our bodies have DNA which makes
muscle out of the food we eat. IT only takes working out or doing sports
to make muscle, by using the muscles and eating food, you gain more
muscle, by default. All food has protein and again, you do not eat it to
get muscles, which is the biggest myth of them all. You're supposed to
have about 40 grams a day. Even a few bananas and a bowl of cereal has
enough.

Well i think you could put on a few pounds. or.. kilograms. eat yogurt, milk, meat, fruit, vegies, so on
